Anyone else feel like January was like four months rolled into one?? I never thought the month would end and this was even despite the start of the year actually be REALLY good. I’m just starting the countdown to Halloween and then Christmas break!! Too early? It’s never too early. 😈😂
But, I do have a positive announcement for this month. A few months ago, the camera lens that I use for my swatch videos and it was on back order for forever and day! I finally restocked and made it to me, so I should have swatch videos back up and running in March!

So named because of the distinctive color that is reminiscent of of when a surfer is in a wave barrel and ends up getting caught in a crashing wave, Locked In is a sticky base coat that is designed to create a flexible bond between the nail (natural or artificial) and polish.

When I am swatching, I use a peel off base coat for ease of removal since I move through several polishes in one sitting. I wanted to take Locked In for a test drive, so I did a full mani when I had about of week to keep it on. I did a valentine’s day mani (with glitter and everything) and put it through the paces during a normal week at work. I am a social worker by day, so 60%+ of my job is spent hacking away at a keyboard, writing reports and responding to emails. After one week, I had some tip wear, mostly on the index and pinkie. Normally, when i do any full finger stamping that covers my free edge, that it the first thing that normally wears off. After one week, the stamping on my ring finger was still going strong. All in all, I was pretty happy with the performance!
