Polish Pickup | March 2019|Album Covers

134314_original_2448x3264-01

I feel like I was living in an alternate reality the past few days. Arizona got hit with a serious winter storm and it snowed… in Scottsdale. Like legit snow… that actually stuck to the ground… in Scottsdale.

giphy

The snow (thankfully) did not come near me, but we did get hit with some pretty bad rain and hail while I was at work. I tried to start a petition for an Phoenix snow day, but the idea did not take off like I thought it would. 🤔😔😫

The change in weather gave me plenty of extra time to focus on the 6 pretties that I swatched for Polish Pickup. The theme for March is Album Covers and the makers chose some pretty awesome covers for their inspiration. All of the album cover inspired polishes and indie products will be available starting on Friday March 1st at 11am EST at http://www.the-pickups.com. Sale ends on Monday March 4th at 11:59pm EST.

Girly Bits

Say Hello 2 Heaven

Say Hello 2 Heaven is inspired by Temple of the Dog, which is a blend of several artists from the 90’s grunge era, including Chris Cornell, one of Pam’s favorite singers. Cornell wrote Say Hello 2 Heaven as a tribute to his roommate, Mother Love Bone vocalist Andy Wood who at the time had recently died. Little did we know that it would also end up memorializing Chris Cornell himself.

Say Hello 2 Heaven is a vibrant blurple polish with heavy violet undertones, accented with purple and blue shimmer, gold flakes, and colour shifting flakes in purple/blue.
***This polish leans blue in my pictures due to the strong blue shimmer and undertone, but it is much more purple in person!***

Price: $13.00

Cap: 300

Jior Couture Polish

WTF

WTF is inspired by the album WTF (Where They From) by Missy Elliot (featuring Pharrell Williams). WTF is described as a violet (cold) to bright pink (warm) thermal. The thermal shift make the dope move fast, make them think you drinkin’.
The added violet/pink glow of Aurora pigment will make you drop down like you in the matrix.
WTF is a 2 in 1 polish. It dries to a gorgeous matte finish. With a shiny top coat, the Aurora pigment really pops through like Like m-m-m-m-m, yak it to the yak!
Shawty what?
How they do it where you from?

Price: $12.50
