As I am typing this, there is a magnificent storm going on outside. I am reveling in it because rain and good thunderstorms are few and far between here in Arizona. AND, more rain and storms are coming at the end of this week!! For some reason, the Arizona Powers That Be got on the Fall bandwagon and we actually have Fall weather and temps in the 70s and 80s. I could get used to this. Lying in bed in my comfy leggings, binge watching an NCIS: LA marathon. What more could a girl ask for??

Let’s get down to business, because we are back at my favorite time of the month – The Hella Handmade Creations October Sale. I have 18 (yes, 18!!) gorgeous polishes to share with you. I have flakies, and shimmers; magnetics and multichromes. As always, they all feature some stunning holographic elements.

Each featured brand commits to participating for a minimum of 4 months. Each brand chooses their own theme and will create 1 polish per month inspired by that theme.

El Macho Monster

Theme: Despicable Me

El Macho Monster is described as a purple magnetic polish wit aurora pigment and flakes.

El Macho Monster was opaque for me in two coats. I used the magnet after the second coat and after applying the top coat for approximately 20 seconds each time. I applied the flakes with a fan brush once my polish was dry.

Theme: Stranger Things

Scoops Ahoy is described as a purple-orange-green multichrome polish, filled with silver holographic glitters and red iridescent glitters. Opaque in three coats. Glossy top coat recommended for a smooth finish, due to the glitters. Apply each layer with care to get an even distribution of glitters.
