It’s officially that time when all things horror are celebrated (aka, my favorite time of year). Fun fact: I can only watch horror movies about serial killers. Movies about ghosts or hauntings are a no go for me. My rationalization for this is because I would have an admittedly small chance of fighting back and surviving against a serial killer. But how do you fight a ghost??? If I’m going to scare myself with a movie, I at least need to comfort myself with the thought that I have a fighting chance if I were caught in the same situation! 😂😂
Today I have the fabulous Jior Couture custom polish for the September Horror themed Polish Pickup.
Sikiliza Kwa Wahenga is inspired by the eerie song (of the same name) that played throughout the movie Get Out.
Sikiliza Kwa Wahenga is described as a uxuriously rich copper brown thermal polish that shifts from a golden copper (warm) to warm chocolate brown (cold) with copper shimmer and denim blue-green aurora pigment. Sikiliza dries to a semi matte finish, so I topped it with a high shine quick dry top coat. This is recommended by the makers as it adds shine and really brings out the aurora pigment.
